LED Mesh IMAGIC WEAVE – The System

IMAGIC WEAVE® – a fusion of TYLER Design Mesh and state-of-the-art LED technology is made up from the following components:

IMAGIC WEAVE wire mesh

Architectural Wire Mesh

Elements of high quality stainless steel wire mesh are individually tailored to suit each media façade providing an elegant carrier for the LED profiles.



Easy to use, reliable and specially developed for fast installation and maintenance. The clips grip around the LED profiles and hook securely into the architectural wire mesh.


LED Profiles

Molded and enclosed in a sleek stainless steel body the electronics are centrally encapsulated (IP 67) in the LED profiles. Each LED pixel can be controlled individually and can display with a resolution of 48 bit an infinite number of colors. The LED profiles are integrated by means of input and output connectors into an LED profile group.

A direct communication and power transmission takes place between components at the 19” racks and the LED profiles. Normally there are no additionally boxes for power distribution at the façade. The connectors on the cables are IP67-rated.

Video Server

Each Media Façade is as exciting and individual as its video content. The fully video controlled IMAGIC WEAVE®

Video Micro Converter

Video Micro Converter

Used as a link in the two-stage communication between video server and LED profiles, the Video Micro Converter takes over decentralized control functions. It is also used for programming the façade geometry or each individual LED point.

Power Supply

Power Supply

The IMAGIC WEAVE® LED profiles cannot directly operate with the mains voltage as they need a lower operating voltage. The power supplies convert the project-specific mains voltage into the operating voltage of the LED profiles.


Pre-assembled, tested delivered and designed for set up in internal control rooms, the racks basically consist of a steel frame with 19” insertions, two doors for maintenance and service and one ventilator unit on top. In addition to different accessories, we install into the racks video server, video micro converter and power supplies.


In addition to standard components, there are a variety of specialist components that can be supplied to enhance each individual project. We would be delighted to supplement your project with individual control components (e.g. backup video server, smartphone operation) or safety components (e.g. USV, temperature sensors).

The control concept of IMAGIC WEAVE® is as individual as each project. Various degrees of automation are possible; from completely autonomous operation, with automatic regulations depending on time and program sequences, as well as sensors for brightness and temperature, through to manual controls.

We are happy to work with you on your individual control concept, which we will preprogram on your system in the software commissioning and which we will pass to you during our project-specific customer training.

During the development of IMAGIC WEAVE® media façade we placed great emphasis on finding a simple assembly concept.

Our research and development lead us to creating our proven clip system.

This simple solution allows the individual
LED profiles of IMAGIC WEAVE® to be discretely attached to the reverse side of the architectural mesh façade.

The clip system and the number of clips required per LED profile are adapted to suit the specific mesh type for each project. Therefore we can guarantee you a flexible mounting solution equipped specifically to suit the requirements of your project.

Wire Mesh for IMAGIC WEAVE Media Facade

Our architectural woven wire mesh is tailor-made to suit the specific needs of your project.

From our vast range of stainless steel wire meshes and various LED pixel pitches, the transparency of the mesh façade can be varied.

Depending on the lighting conditions and the angle of view our architectural mesh can appear transparent or closed.

Advantages at a glance:

When selecting the wire mesh type we make sure that the opening is compatible with the favored LED pitch.

The size of the wire mesh opening depends on the LED pitch and the other way around.

For example: If a horizontal pixel pitch of 50 mm for the LEDs is to be used, the pitch of the vertical wires / cables should be 50 mm or 100 mm.

All architectural meshes are specially manufactured for each individual project. The maximum width of the mesh is 3 metres. The length is unlimited and can be flexibly adapted to the project.
